I've been doing Roger's genealogy. I'm a nut, I know. In my hands right now is Eric Waters' birth certificate.
Eric Waters born 12 March 1913
289 Coach and Horses Yard
Hexham, Northumberland
Son of Alfred and Mary Alice Waers née Dixon.
Alfred was a motor-wagon driver for flour mills.
I read that Roger was influenced by his grandparents' poverty. Also, I have at least two different Waters lines in my family tree so I wondered if we were related. I haven't discovered that yet, but I'm still wading through the early 1800s stuff. |
