1972 - FREE at Sunderland Locarno. One of the greatest gigs ive ever seen. The place was packed to the rafters. Paul Kossoff was drugged up and falling over but playing amazingly. Paul Rodgers was on real top form. I was 16 years of age. Free were something else and were adored in Sunderland. Half of 'Free live' was recorded at Sunderland.

Hey!
You must be the guy from the Groundhogs video on youtube
welcome aboard!
I turned 18 in 1972
and ALRIGHT NOW was my favorite song summer of 1966--(when it came out on the radio, in California)
I think I posted at least one FREE song in the "deficiently played songs" thread
a while back
I gotta go check
I need to re-up some of the dead links in that thread
(It's in the "EVERYTHING ELSE" section)
I hear the newest version of REALPLAYER lets you download youtube videos
I gotta get that
so I don't have to worry about finding some real cool song on youtube
only to find that it's been taken down the next day
we need older people to post rare old gems, they know about, in that "deficiently played" thread
you get to APPRECIATE that old garbage
when you start listening to this new garbage eh? _________________
