BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Former President Jimmy Carter said on Friday the "atrocious economic policies" of the Bush administration had caused the worst global financial crisis since the Great Depression of the 1930s.

http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/idUSTRE4993TS20081010?feedType=RSS&feedName=topNews&rpc=22&sp=true

Or since the policies that created 19% inflation of his administration, or the 319 hostages taken on his watch.

I've always admired his response to the question how he solves problems (on his knees was the answer) but what an awful president.

he's a crappy ex president too

isn't he still too embarassed about going to palestine
and saying he had a peace agreement
and then the palestinians said it was bullshit
to come out in public, still? Rolling Eyes

what an asshole

but that's what all the demos are doing
stating the historical facts exactly the opposite of what really happened
hoping people will be too stupid to notice

As anyone could see 6-7 years ago...

right about what?

i was referring to how
just a coupla months ago
he went to the mid east
and came back and said he had brokered some total amazing peace agreement with
israel and the palestinians

and
as soon as he got back and said all this
the palestinians said he was crazy
and there was no agreement
Rolling Eyes
apparently he had made it all up
just to be on television declaring peace for one day
but he just made a public jack-ass outta himself

so now
instead of hiding with his head under a pillow
like he should be
he's out there again
saying the repubs caused the financial crisis
when in reality
it was obama
and acorn
and the demo congress
pushing bad loans
after clinton repealed the glass-stiegall act
which made speculation on mortgages legal again
for the first time since the thirties

and barney frank and chris dodd (democrats) taking bribes to cover for fannie and freddie

and then the demo congress blocked mcCain and the bush admin from regulating fannie and freddie some more
a coupla years ago

the demos are all mixed in with this shit
the repubs tried to stop it

all this blubbering by the demos is just the thing hitler called THE BIG LIE
if you repeat a lie enough
and if the lie is BIG ENOUGH
SOME people will believe it

No way to talk about our distinguished ex prez and international figger

after clinton repealed the glass-stiegall act
which made speculation on mortgages legal again
for the first time since the thirties

Hmmm about the time of the depression right??? What idiots made up a stupid rule like that?

if you repeat a lie enough
and if the lie is BIG ENOUGH
SOME people will believe it

Amen

after the stock market crash
congress realized that it had been caused by people speculating with too
much artificial "leverage" on crap-paper, stock-based, financial instruments
so, they passed all kindza laws designed to stop that from ever happening again

and one of the things they included, in the glass-stiegal act, was forbidding bundling mortgages into the same kinda crap-paper financial instruments and speculating on them with artificial leverage

carter started off the whole thing of forcing banks to make bad loans
so poor people could "buy homes"

and clinton continued it
and THAT woulda been bad enough
if they had left it at that:
each bad loan woulda just been between some poor person, who couldn't afford it
and some bank

BUT
clinton pushed thru the REPEALING of that part of the glass-stiegal act that stopped all this crap from being bundled up, and speculated on

so then tons of bad loans were bundled up into something like a mutual fund
and then a person
(or pension fund-or whatever), could buy a bundle
or a slice of a bundle
or a slice of a bundle of bundles
THESE CRAP FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS WERE NOW LEGAL TO SPECULATE ON
DEMOCRATS CAME UP WITH THIS IDEA OF FORCING BANKS TO MAKE THESE BAD LOANS
AND THEN THE GOVERNMENT LENT THE CREDIT INSTITUTIONS THE MONEY TO MAKE THE LOANS
(THIS CAUSED HOUSES TO QUADRUPLE IN PRICE ARTIFICIALLY, OF COURSE)
AND, THEN, THE GOVERNMENT GUARANTEED THESE LOANS
AND DEMOCRATS ALLOWED THEM TO BE BUNDLED INTO CRAP FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS
AND ALLOWED SPECULATORS TO SPECULATE ON THEM
LIKE STOCKS AND MUTUAL FUNDS AND COMMODITIES

AND AIG CO-SIGNED ON THEM TO GIVE THEM A FAKE AAA RATING
SO PENSION FUNDS COULD INVEST IN THE FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS THAT WERE CREATED FROM THEM

OBAMA TRAINED ACORN MEMBERS TO HASSLE BANK OFICIALS TO MAKE EVEN MORE BAD
AND WORSE
LOANS
EVEN GOING TO THEIR PRIVATE HOMES TO HASSLE THEM AT THEIR DOORS

and congessmen were paid off to look the other way
SO, OF COURSE THERE HAS TO BE A BAILOUT
TO MAKE SURE THE BODIES STAY BURRIED
AND THOSE BOUGHT OFF
STAY BOUGHT

now everything is too tangled to untangle

mccain tried to stop all this
a few years ago

ACORN AND OBAMA WERE RIGHT IN THE THICK OF ALL THIS
AS IT WAS HAPPENING
AND ACORN STUFFED THE BALLOT BOXES
trying to continue this crap forever and ever
and the original bailout plan had a clause that 20% of any return money from the bailout
would go to acorn

if this doesn't stink to anyone
they have no nose

THEY WON'T SEE IT BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO EYES

THEY DON'T CARE BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO HEART NOR BRAIN

George Soros is going to be really happy when he gets all those properties for next to nothing.
