I sure hope not!
I really think that they should do only one more gig, one giant gig in the sky... of Egypt! |

In some form or other i think the name Pink Floyd will grace the land of America again.
Cirrus's idea is good,it will be a grand goodbye for Floyd , a free open air concert to all Floyd fans from arond the world. The ultimate gathering of Floyd fans infront of the pyramids and all the pyramids connected by Pigs and lasers.
If only dreams could come true.
A 5 day Floyd festival with tribute bands playing everyday and for the end the real Floyd on stage led by Roger, i would die a happy man...
Wow Comfortably Numb just started on m Hi Fi, it's a sign.
Is there anybody in there. |

I really think that would be possible. Dr. Zawi Hawass would certainly approve the idea, as long it wouldn't let people take pieces of stone from the pyramids, it would be a nice marketing move for Egypt. Besides, what other place in the world has that Floyd atmosphere???
The Floyd fest would be good too. Nice idea!!! _________________ Wish nothing - it might come true... |

I don't know. I mean, David's made it clear that he doesn't really want to do much with Pink Floyd currently, and Rick's doing his own thing.
Even if they did do some kind of show, it'll probably be a)reeaaallly fucking expensive or b)in Egypt, and as a high school student it'll be virtually inpossible to get the money to fund such a trip just for a concert.
I'm accepting the fact that I missed out on Pink Floyd in their prime, being how I was born in 1990. It's a shame really. _________________

i missed seeing the floyd with syd
but so did almost everyone else
i think there was one person on one of the old forums who saw them withsyd at the ufo club
i saw themtwo nights in a row
in 1973
when they were at their dave gilmour phase prime
and i'm glad i did
it was a highlight fy life
because of everything
with them and me
and everyone
at the time
i saw the last live perfomance of saucerful of secrets ever perfomed by the band!
last song
last day
to see them with roger would still be fantastic
i'm still holding out hope _________________
