This Week’s Featured Concert

The Who
Spectrum
Philadelphia, PA
12/4/1973

Quadrophenia was the Who’s epic testament to the Mod lifestyle. When they took it on the road in 1973, rock fans came out in droves to see the rock opera unfold onstage. This early December show in Philly captured one of London’s favorite foursomes tearing it up for a sold-out crowd. Don’t miss the Who playing hits from one of the best classic rock albums of all time.

This Week’s Featured Concert

Jeff Beck
Masonic Temple Theatre
Detroit, MI
5/9/1975

After disappearing from the public eye for 18 months, guitar giant Jeff Beck emerged in 1975 with a new album called Blow By Blow. The entirely instrumental album was a step in a decidedly jazz-fusion direction, and shot up the charts garnering Beck a whole new legion of fans. When he decided to take his new sound on the road, he assembled a stellar group of musicians to get the job done. Check out this timeless recording from Detroit’s Masonic Temple Auditorium.

This Week’s Featured Concert

Rod Stewart
Olympia
London, England
12/21/1978

Rod Stewart has been an integral member of Britain’s rock scene from his time in the Jeff Beck Group in the mid-‘60s to his solo material of today. In the late ‘70s, when this show was captured at the Olympia in London, Stewart was riding high on the wave of a slick, pop-oriented solo career. His release at the time, Blondes Have More Fun, sold over four million copies and established Stewart as one of rock ‘n’ roll’s definitive musicians.

This Week’s Featured Concert

Aerosmith
Central Park
New York, NY
8/29/1975

We recently uncovered a true concert gem - a complete, uncut recording from Aerosmith’s 1975 appearance in New York’s Central Park. This full concert replaces a partial set from the show that was previously on Concert Vault. We’re excited about this addition; recorded for the King Biscuit Flower Hour right after the release of the astounding Toys in the Attic, Aerosmith took this Central Park audience on a ride through some of their best songs…and now you can go, too. Enjoy!
